I can only add my condolences to you on this sad news.

I was a Jesuit scholastic at Loyola during Dan's years, and I taught him in several classes. He was one of my go-to guys, which means when you asked a challenging question, but every other student just blankly stared at you, you had to turn to some student for help. Dan was always a go-to guy - I always knew he would come up with something useful.

I know how proud you are of him - he was a wonderful young man. He deserves us to honor him now, and so we do.
